HELP & RECOVERY

BingoBeats Troubleshooting

Find practical checks for joining problems, missing music, VirtualDJ matching, remote connections, TV codes and rejected bingo claims.

On this page

Start with the symptom you can see. Check the affected device and the current game before creating a replacement session or changing several settings at once.

Players cannot join or are waiting

  1. Confirm the player has the current game's player QR code or game code, not a TV or remote code.
  2. Check that the game is still active and both host and player have internet access.
  3. Look at the host's waiting-player list. Admit the player if the request is waiting there.
  4. If the player was removed, use Allow Back only when you intend to permit their return. For a displayed capacity or account restriction, read that message on the host screen.

A card or marks seem to be missing

Return to the original device, browser and tab, then let the session reconnect. Avoid clearing browser storage during an active game because it holds reconnect information.

Catch Up is a read-only review; return to the main card to change marks. Confirmed winning tiles are locked intentionally.

If a song is not on a player's card, that may be normal: cards contain a selection from the playlist. If the entire card is missing, ask the host to check the player's session before joining again.

The game advances but there is no music

Opening the Jumbotron or Host Remote does not route audio to that device. Troubleshoot the equipment actually playing the music.

The game advances but there is no music
CheckAction
Playback methodConfirm which playback option the game uses. External playback requires you to operate the external music source.
Audio outputCheck the actual player's volume, selected audio device, speaker connection and mixer channel.
Host sessionKeep the host game tab connected. If a browser player asks for an initial Play interaction, perform it on that device.
VirtualDJKeep VirtualDJ and the connector open, verify pairing and confirm a valid match for the song.
Song versus timerCheck whether you paused the music or only the countdown. They are different controls.

VirtualDJ cannot find the intended song

  1. Check that the music file exists in the connector's selected media directory and that its drive is connected.
  2. Scan again after moving, adding or renaming files.
  3. Review both artist and title, and inspect alternate versions when more than one recording could match.
  4. For a newly created folder playlist, check that Artist - Title versus Title - Artist was interpreted correctly.
  5. Test the song before continuing the event. A saved JSON entry does not contain an audio file.

The folder builder leaves out songs or will not save

  • Songs must be directly inside the selected folder; this website tool ignores nested folders.
  • Check supported file extensions and whether duplicate artist-and-title entries were excluded.
  • Use Show issues, fill missing artist/title fields and confirm ambiguous filename splits.
  • Select 80–100 valid, unique songs and give the playlist a usable name.
  • Download JSON creates a local file. Use Create Custom Playlist to add the list to your account.

Host Remote is disconnected

Check both devices' internet access and return to the main host game tab. The remote needs the host session available for playback controls.

If the pairing countdown expired, create a new pairing code in Settings. If an established remote session is no longer valid, disconnect and pair again.

If Next changes the game but audio remains silent, follow the audio checks above rather than repeatedly pairing the remote.

A TV code fails or the display is stale

Enter the TV code at https://bingobeats.top/tv. TV codes expire after 20 minutes, and generating a new code replaces the old one.

Check that the host is running the intended game and that the display has internet access. Reload a stalled display page, or open the current full Jumbotron link from settings.

If the TV browser is incompatible, try a current browser on a connected computer. A screen already connected does not disconnect merely because its setup code expires.

A bingo claim is rejected

  • Check See Target: the required shape may have changed.
  • Every required song must be marked and called. The free center counts automatically.
  • Previously confirmed lines do not count as new lines for another line claim.
  • Wait for any pending claim to be reviewed. Ask the host to inspect the card if the reason is unclear.

Give support useful details

If the problem persists, contact support with the page you were using, the action you took, the exact error message, your device/browser and playback method, and approximately when it happened.

A screenshot of the error helps. Crop out passwords, private pairing QR codes, remote access links and other account information. Include whether other devices in the same game were affected.

Describe one reproducible example, such as a specific song that fails while another plays. That is more useful than changing many settings without recording the result.
